The Day at a Glance
We’ve packed a whole lot of surfing, cheering, snacks, shopping, and Queenie-ing into one day, so take a peek at the schedule and find your division, round, and heat time.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
CHECK IN: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your Round 1 heat to check in, sign your waiver, and grab your wristband.
JERSEYS: We’ll call your name 15 minutes before your heat for jersey pickup. When you hear your name, head over to the SURF ACADEMY Main Event tent.
HEATS: Each heat is 15 minutes and we’ll be doing water starts. You can get in the water up to 5 minutes before your heat and hang in the holding area until the buzzer sends you into the lineup.
We are an on-time event! So please give yourself plenty of time to get checked in, find your crew, grab your jersey, and get ready to surf.

The surf is our main event, but we’ve got plenty going on between heats!
Grab a snack, wander through Vendor Village, hunt down some Queenie goodies, and hang at the beach with us all day.
There will be shopping, giveaways, snacks, goodie bags, and lots of good people.

Surf Queenie is happening Saturday, October 17 at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point. The event runs from 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your Round 1 heat. You’ll need time to check in at the SURF ACADEMY tent, sign your waiver, grab your wristband, and get settled before your heat.
